Hair loss is now a common issue that affects people of all ages, irrespective of gender and can be caused by a wide variety of factors.
Generally, in men above their 30s, frontal balding or receding hairline is the most commonly noticed hair loss pattern.
Hair loss in women happens due to multiple reasons such as stress, menopause, diet, and rough handling whereas in men, it can be the result of thyroid problems, tight hairstyles, infections, stress, poor diet, smoking, medications and drug use.
Hair loss from the medical condition referred to as Alopecia Areata is found to be more common than any other causes.
Referred to as spot baldness, this is a hair loss condition that usually affects the scalp. In some cases, the condition resolves without treatment within a year, but hair loss is sometimes permanent.
Here is a look at seven celebrities who fought hair loss issues and won their battle. Check out their experience.
